SO THIS IS FOR THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED OR CURRENTLY BEING CONSTRUCTED TRACTOR SUPPLY. IT'S LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF OLIVE STREET AND HIGHWAY THREE. SO THIS IS THE CORRIDOR BETWEEN 646 AND HIGHWAY 96. SO THE PROPOSED SIGN IS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE DEVELOPMENT. IT IS HAS MENTIONED 30 FOOT TALL. THIS IS A RENDERING SHOWING THE SIGN AND 108FT■S. SO THE 30 FOOT CONSTITUTES A 50% INCREASE IN THE TOTAL ALLOWABLE AREA, WHICH IS 20FT PER ORDINANCE, AND THE 108FT■S CONSTITUTES AN 8% INCREASE, WITH THE ALLOWABLE AREA BEING 100FT■S. SO JUST SOME OBSERVATIONS OF GOING DOWN THIS CORRIDOR. I DROVE IT YESTERDAY JUST TO KIND OF TAKE A LOOK AT THE AREA AND FOUND THAT NO SIGNS EXCEED THE MAXIMUM AREA OR HEIGHT ALONG THE HIGHWAY THREE CORRIDOR. AND IN FACT, THERE'S ONLY TWO PYLON SIGNS IN THE ENTIRE STRETCH THAT ARE OVER TEN FEET IN HEIGHT. SO THE, THE 20 FOOT, FROM STAFF'S PERSPECTIVE IS A SUFFICIENT HEIGHT FOR A SIGN ALONG THIS CORRIDOR AND IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AREA. SO AGAIN, FROM THE COMMISSION STANDPOINT, YOU LOOK AT THE EIGHT CRITERIA. HAPPY TO GO THROUGH ANY OF THESE. THE PROPOSED SIGN DOES HAVE DIRECT FRONTAGE ON HIGHWAY THREE. IT'S NOT OBSCURED AND IT DOES PROVIDE ADEQUATE VISIBILITY FOR THE SITE.
