THE MASONIC LODGE OWNS ANOTHER ONE THAT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE.

ADAMS. SO THE SAME ARTIST, AND THESE ARE HIS RENDERINGS OF WHAT HE'S KIND OF COME UP WITH.

THE MASONS ARE LOOKING AT IT NOW.

AND SO ARE THE KEY LEAD CITY.

BEAUTIFUL MEANING, EXCUSE ME, COMMITTEE, BUT REALLY IT'S PROMOTING OUR TEXAS MUSIC FRIENDLY CITY DESIGNATION.

SO IT KIND OF HAS A DIFFERENT LOOK AND FEEL TO IT.

AND IT'S REALLY TO PROMOTE THE FACT THAT WE'RE A MUSIC FRIENDLY CITY AND WE'RE TRYING TO MAKE THE JAZZ MUSICIANS LOOK LIKE MASONS BECAUSE BELIEVE IT OR NOT, QUITE A FEW JAZZ MUSICIANS WHO LIKE COUNT BASSY AND ALL THE NAMES ARE ESCAPING ME RIGHT NOW OF ALL THE FAMOUS JAZZ MUSICIANS, BUT THEY WERE ALL MASONS, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, FROM THAT PERIOD.

SO, UM, SO WE'RE GONNA MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THEM.

SO IT KIND OF LIKE PLAYS INTO THE MASONIC LODGE FEEL.

WE ARE HAVING A TOWN HALL MEETING WITH TECH STOCK NEXT WEEK.

THE GRAND PARKWAY, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IS GONNA, UH, GO OUT TO BID FOR CONSTRUCTION IN 2026.

AND THEN CONSTRUCTION IS CHARTING IN 2027.

THAT IS GOING TO IMPACT OUR AREA QUITE A BIT.

SO THIS IS A PUBLIC MEETING, UM, JUST FOR FOLKS CAN ASK QUESTIONS, PROVIDE COMMENTS TO TDOT, AND REALLY GET A BETTER IDEA OF HOW THAT'S GOING TO IMPACT, UM, THE AREA.

THIS IS A FUN EVENT THAT OUR ANIMAL SHELTER DOES WHERE THEY, UH, THEY HAVE A COSTUME CONTEST AND THEY HAVE A BIG, A FRIEND OF WHERE THEY AND WHITE FOLKS WHO HAVE LOST A PET TO COME AND BRING A PICTURE AND LIGHT A CANDLE.

UM, THEY HAVE GAMES AND LOTS OF STUFF FOR THE KIDS AND OF COURSE FREE ADOPTIONS.

AND THEN, UH, THIS IS A NEW EVENT WE'RE DOING ON NOVEMBER 2ND CALLED PUMPKIN

PALOOZA, WHERE WE'RE INVITING EVERYONE TO BRING THEIR HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS SO THEY NO LONGER NEED THE JACKO LANTERNS.

AND WE'RE GOING TO SMASH THEM.

UM, AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO GIVE THE TOTAL WEIGHT, UH, THE NEXT DAY.

SO WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS EVENT.

IT GIVES ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR THE KIDS TO WEAR THEIR COSTUMES 'CAUSE GOSH KNOWS THOSE COSTUMES ARE NOT, ARE NOT CHEAP, RIGHT? SO IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE 'EM WEAR 'EM THREE OR FOUR TIMES.

SO, UH, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THAT'S KIND OF WHAT'S GOING ON IN COMMUNICATIONS.

WE'RE JUST HERE TO TALK TO Y'ALL ABOUT, UH, WHAT WE CAN ALL DO TOGETHER REALLY, UH, TO PROMOTE LEAGUE CITY AND HEADS AND BEDS AND MORE ACTIVITIES.

UH, HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HERE IN LEAGUE CITY FOR 28 YEARS? OKAY, SO 28 YEARS AGO WE STARTED HOLIDAY IN THE PARK AND IT HAS JUST GROWN FROM 20 FLOATS, DOVER, ABOUT 60 FLOATS LAST YEAR, AND MASSES AMOUNTS OF PEOPLE THAT COME OUT.

UH, THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TOLD US LAST YEAR THERE WERE EASILY 15,000 PLUS PEOPLE OUT ON THE STREET.

IF YOU'RE AT MY END OF THE STREET WHERE WE, WHERE I LINE EVERYBODY UP AND I LOOK DOWN THERE AT THE OTHER END, I DON'T KNOW WHO'S IN THE PARADE AND WHO ISN'T, BECAUSE IT JUST LOOKS LIKE A SEA OF PEOPLE HAVING A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL TIME.

SO OUR OBJECT IS TO BRING MAGIC TO MAIN STREET.

WE THINK IT'S GONNA BE A FUN WAY TO THINK ABOUT HOW THE HOLIDAYS WOULD BE IN THE EMERALD CITY.

UM, SO WE HAVE ACTUALLY FOUND A, A CARTOON THAT'S ABOUT THE WIZARD OF OZ.

SO, AND CHRISTMAS.

SO THAT'S GONNA BE REALLY CUTE TO SHOW.

UH, SO THAT'S FRIDAY NIGHT.

THE CITY IS GRACIOUS.

THEY COME OUT AND GIVE AWAY RIGHT FREE POPCORN.

WE DO, WE GIVE FREE POPCORN.

STILL GOING TO, WE BOUGHT NEW POPCORN MACHINES, JUST .

MOST OF THOSE KIDS DON'T GET TO GO OUTSIDE AT NIGHT, EVER.

SATURDAY MORNING WE KICK OFF WITH OUR BEAUTIFUL, UH, CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY COSTUME PARADE OVER IN FRONT OF BUTLER'S COURTYARD.

AND WHEN WE DID MEET WITH THEM, JUST SO Y'ALL KNOW, UM, WE SAID WE WANTED TO KEEP THAT INFORMATION AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE.

THAT MIGHT BE VERY HARD, BUT WE WANNA FOCUS JUST HERE.

WE DON'T WANNA GO OUT TO HOUSTON AND GALVESTON AND ANYWHERE ELSE JUST TO BRING MORE IN BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE HARD TO GAUGE FOR SECURITY, UH, AND HAPPINESS FOR THEM.

AND I'VE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH, SO MANY SMILES AND SO MUCH HAPPINESS ON PEOPLE'S FACES.

AND THE VENDORS ARE VERY GENEROUS, UH, TO THAT GROUP.

AND IT'S WONDERFUL.

THEN THERE'S, THEN RIGHT AFTER THAT, WE HAVE THE PEP PARADE, COSTUME PARADE.

WE'RE DOING A TOTO LOOKALIKE, UH, IN THE CONTEST THIS YEAR.

SO I THINK THAT'S GONNA BE A LOT OF FUN.

UM, BUT GOING BACK TO SOME OF Y'ALL'S NEEDS, AND THAT IS, I'VE BEEN WORKING WITH THE GALVESTON DAILY NEWS.

THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME IN 10 YEARS THAT THEY CAME TO US AND WANTED TO DO A SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT INTO THE NEWSPAPER.

AND I'M GONNA WRITE ALL THE CONTENT FOR IT.

THEY'RE GONNA GO OUT AND SELL ADVERTISEMENT, HINT, HINT, UH, IT WILL GO INTO EVERY NEWSPAPER.

THEY'RE GONNA DO MAILINGS.
