SO WE HAD ONE OF THE ARTISTS TEACH A FISH PRINTING WORKSHOP WITH DEAD FISH. SO YOU CAN IMAGINE. AND WE TAUGHT IT AT SUMMER CAMP FOR CAMP BY THE CREEK. OH, BY THE CREEK. OH, THE KIDS LOVED IT. THEY JUST WERE HOLDING THESE HUGE FISH AND EELS, THE COVERING 'EM WITH PAINT AND PRINTING ON FABRIC AND PRINTING ON BANDANAS. AND, UM, THEY HAD A GREAT TIME. AND SHE, UH, GOT ABOUT 60 KIDS TO PARTICIPATE IN CAMP BY THE CREEK. SHE'S GONNA BE DOING ONE AT THE LIBRARY BECAUSE SHE DOES A LITTLE STEM CLASS AND THEN SHE DOES THE ACTUAL PRINTING. SO THE LIBRARY'S EXCITED ABOUT HAVING THAT. THEN WE HAD OUR OTHER ARTISTS TEACH A PORTRAIT DRAWING CLASS AT THE LIBRARY. AND THEN OUR THIRD ARTIST TAUGHT A CANVAS ON CANVAS KIND OF CLASS WHERE YOU WALK AWAY WITH A, WITH A FINISHED PRODUCT. AND SHE TAUGHT THAT AT THE LIBRARY AS WELL. SO WE'LL BE DOING MORE CLASSES. UH, THEY, LIKE I SAID, THEY HAVE TO TEACH THREE. THERE HAS BEEN SOME DISCUSSION AMONGST THE LEAGUE CITY KEEP LEAGUE CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMITTEE TO EXTENDING THE, UH, RESIDENCY TO A YEAR. 'CAUSE A NINE MONTHS IS WE'RE, IT'S A PILOT PROGRAM OR WE'RE KIND OF FLYING THE PLANE, PLANE AND BUILDING IT AS WE GO ALONG. BUT EXCITING NEWS, IF YOU WANNA SAVE THE DATE FOR OCTOBER 17TH, THAT IS GONNA BE OUR FIRST, UH, ARTIST IN RESIDENCY, OPEN HOUSE AT THE ACTUAL GALLERY, UH, THE STUDIO SPACE. AND IT WILL BE SOME LIGHT BITES, SOME WINE, UM, CONTRIBUTED BY THE PATRONS OF THE PARTS AND ARTS FOUNDATION. AND IT'LL BE A CHANCE TO MEET ALL THE ARTISTS. AND RETURNED, UH, ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO, [00:30:01] WE ACTUALLY ADDED A PIECE INTO MORE OF LAKE CITY. SO, UH, THE, IT IT, THERE'S A DISCREPANCY ON WHAT YOU CALL IT, BUT THAT CONSTELLATION POINT MM-HMM . AREA. UM, THE BOATS ACTUALLY GO DOWN THAT.
